The Rig

This model is a personal project, inspired by a project I worked on in my job: The Rig, the world's first offshore amusement park, located off the coast of Al Jubail and Dammam in Saudi Arabia. As the project is still likely to change, the model shows one stage of its design. The images are renders made with the Studio software. It includes: - A marina accessible by shuttle and yacht - The Moonpool platform with the presidential suite and VIP accommodations - The Derrick platform with a drilling derrick, a 6000-seat concert hall, attractions including a Ferris wheel, a 3-star hotel - The Riser platform with a wave pool, water slides, a 4-star hotel - The jack-up platform which is based on a self-elevating drilling platform with attractions centered around oil drilling It has been designed modularly for disassembly for transportation.
